TRANSFER PRINTING
Is ideal for small production runs of sports uniforms with one or full color logos or personalized names and numbers. Transfer printing provides a smooth, polished finish.
This process involves printing design on a transfer vinyl sheet using a printing-plotting machine which is later cut, placed over the garment and heat pressed at a high temperature to adhere.
Modern vinyl transfers are thin, durable and bond firmly to garments, creating designs that will last a long time with proper care.
They are ideal for sports and leisure wear decoration and unlike DTG can be used on virtually any fabric including polyester, lycra, technical fabrics, waterproofs and jackets.
Transfer vinyl material is made in single colours and also has special options such as reflective, fluorescents, flocked, metallic and glow-in-the-dark.
The quality of the printed transfer is directly related to the quality of the artwork supplied. We recommend sending in artwork in a vector format for optimal results. If your design is a bitmap it should be high resolution (300dpi).
Please note printed transfer garments are more sensitive and need extra attention when it comes to washing. To preserve the print and the garment, it is recommended that you wash it inside out on a cold wash. Do not use a tumble dryer and do not iron over the print.
